Théau Peronnin
Peronnin earned an engineering degree from École Polytechnique (class of 2012) and a PhD in quantum physics from ENS Lyon, conducting his doctoral research within the Quantic joint team at Inria Paris and ENS-PSL on superconducting circuits for quantum computing. He co-founded Alice & Bob in 2020 to commercialize cat qubit technology — a superconducting qubit architecture that autonomously suppresses bit-flip errors, potentially reducing hardware overhead for fault-tolerant quantum computers by up to 200×. The company raised a €100 million Series B in January 2025.
