Chad Rigetti
Rigetti holds a BS in physics from the University of Regina and a PhD in applied physics from Yale, where he studied under Nobel laureate Michel Devoret. He spent three years at IBM's quantum computing research lab before founding Rigetti Computing in 2013 in Berkeley, California. Rigetti built one of the first full-stack superconducting quantum computing platforms — including proprietary chip fabrication, cloud-accessible quantum computers, and the Forest SDK — and has authored more than 140 publications. He stepped down as CEO in December 2022 following the company's SPAC listing.
