Tony Pialis
Holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Toronto. A serial semiconductor entrepreneur, Pialis co-founded Snowbush Microelectronics in 1999, a Canadian analog and mixed-signal IP firm later acquired by Gennum/Semtech (now Rambus). He then founded V Semiconductor in 2008, a 10Gbps Ethernet and PCIe Gen3 IP company acquired by Intel in 2012. He subsequently served as VP of Analog and Mixed-Signal IP at Intel from 2012 to 2017, winning the Intel Achievement Award for SerDes delivery on 22nm and 14nm processes. He co-founded Alphawave Semi in 2017 to commercialize high-speed connectivity silicon for data centers and AI infrastructure.
