EcoFlow

Founded in Shenzhen in 2017 by former DJI engineers including Bruce Wang (Wang Lei), EcoFlow makes portable power stations and home energy storage that pair lithium batteries with fast solar charging. Its DELTA and RIVER lines became category leaders for camping, RVs, and backup power, and the company has expanded into whole-home backup systems, balcony solar kits, and smart-home energy management. EcoFlow reached unicorn status in 2021 with a roughly $100 million Series B led by Sequoia China (now HongShan) with CICC, valuing it at about $1 billion, and sells across more than 140 countries. The company remains private with R&D and manufacturing centered in Shenzhen; in December 2025 it was reported to be weighing a US IPO of at least $300 million, in part to fund a first overseas manufacturing base in South Carolina.
