Lockly

Lee Zheng is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience who has worked closely with leading technology and design firms in the smart-home industry. He founded Lockly and serves as its CEO, building the company around his patented PIN Genie keypad, which dynamically reshuffles the position of digits after each entry to defeat shoulder-surfing and smudge attacks. Zheng has said the idea grew out of recognizing how easily static PINs can be observed and stolen, prompting him to rethink keypad security. Under his leadership Lockly expanded from anti-peep deadbolts into the video smart-lock category with Lockly Vision and adopted Matter-over-Thread connectivity for cross-platform smart-home integration.
