ChinaWei Jidong
Wei Jidong (Jidong Wei) spent years in the autonomous-robotics industry, including time at drone-maker DJI where he was involved in the RoboMaster robotics competition and worked as an innovation research manager. In 2016 he left to found AgileX Robotics, a Shenzhen mobile-robot chassis and autonomy-solution provider whose self-driving hardware and software stack went on to support robotics programs across dozens of countries. Building on AgileX's chassis and algorithm experience, he founded Mammotion in early 2022 to develop perimeter-wire-free robotic lawn mowers, drawing core team members from leading robotics and UAV companies. As CEO he has led Mammotion's flagship LUBA all-wheel-drive line and its expansion into RTK-, LiDAR-, and vision-based autonomous outdoor robotics.
