Kam Ghaffarian
Kam Ghaffarian is an Iranian-American engineer and entrepreneur who co-founded Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies (SGT) in 1994, growing it into NASA's second-largest engineering services contractor, which trained NASA astronauts and supported ISS operations before being acquired by KBR for $355 million in 2018. He is a serial deep-tech founder, having co-founded Axiom Space, lunar-lander company Intuitive Machines, and advanced-nuclear company X-energy, and is CEO of the innovation and investment firm IBX. He co-founded Axiom Space in 2016 with Michael Suffredini and serves as its executive chairman.
