Loft Orbital

Pierre-Damien Vaujour is a French aerospace entrepreneur who earned a master's degree in aerospace engineering at the University of Michigan and holds a certificate in entrepreneurship from the International Space University. Before Loft Orbital he held roles at the European Space Agency, NASA Ames Research Center, and the X PRIZE Foundation, and was an early business-development hire at satellite-data company Spire Global. He co-founded Loft Orbital in 2017 with Alex Greenberg and Antoine de Chassy — colleagues he met at Spire — to sell space infrastructure as a service, hosting customer payloads on standardized satellite buses. As CEO he has led the company through its growth to more than $500 million in bookings and a $170 million Series C in January 2025.

Alex Greenberg studied economics and music at Washington University in St. Louis and began his career at Avascent, a management consultancy focused on the aerospace and defense industries. He later joined Spire Global, where he helped build the company's US and international government business from scratch and was instrumental in signing some of its first government satellite-data contracts. Greenberg co-founded Loft Orbital in 2017 with Pierre-Damien Vaujour and Antoine de Chassy, fellow Spire alumni, and as COO oversees business operations including finance, recruiting, legal, and fundraising while helping set company strategy.

Antoine de Chassy is a French aerospace executive with more than two decades of industry experience, including leading strategy, operations, and P&L management at EADS Fleximage. In 2012 he founded InsidePassage Consulting, advising emerging European technology companies on US market-entry strategy and business development. He co-founded Loft Orbital in 2017 alongside Pierre-Damien Vaujour and Alex Greenberg, contributing commercial and international expertise; as President (and head of the company's France operations) he anchors Loft's transatlantic presence across San Francisco and Toulouse.
