Isomorphic Labs is an AI Protein & Enzyme Design company founded in 2021 and based in London, United Kingdom.
Isomorphic Labs, Google's drug-discovery spinoff, is pursuing faster routes to cancer drugs, per Business Insider.
IsoDDE is Isomorphic's unified AI drug design engine, built on AlphaFold 3 with further models for designing molecules and predicting how they will behave. It is meant to work end to end across targets, therapeutic areas and drug modalities, and has expanded from small molecules to biologics. A curated life-science data collection and large-scale in-silico experiments on GPU clusters support it, and scientists use it through a dedicated interface.
AlphaFold 3, released in May 2024 and developed by Isomorphic Labs with Google DeepMind, models the structures and interactions of proteins and the other molecules of life. It extends the Nobel-winning AlphaFold protein structure work to the molecular interactions that matter for drug design, and it is the foundation of IsoDDE.
Isomorphic runs research collaborations with Eli Lilly on small molecules against undisclosed targets, with Novartis on small-molecule discovery against challenging targets, announced in January 2024 and expanded in February 2025 by up to three programs, and with Johnson & Johnson on small molecules and biologics across multiple targets, announced on Jan. 20, 2026. These sit alongside its internal pipeline in oncology and immunology.
