Maxim Serebryakov
Maxim Serebryakov grew up in Russia and moved to the US at 18 to study engineering at Stanford, where he also conducted AI research at Stanford's AI Lab. His founding motivation was personal: a classmate who relocated to Nicaragua to work in a contact center was repeatedly penalized in customer ratings for his accent. Serebryakov co-founded Sanas in 2020 to eliminate accent bias through real-time speech conversion technology. The company raised a $65 million Series B in February 2025, and its R&D is anchored in Stanford AI Lab research.
