Brendan Iribe
Brendan Iribe is an American entrepreneur and game programmer who co-founded Oculus VR in 2012, serving as CEO through its $2 billion acquisition by Facebook (now Meta) in 2014. He also co-founded Scaleform, a UI middleware company acquired by Autodesk. After leaving Meta in 2018, he moved into angel investing before co-founding Sesame in 2023. Sesame raised $250 million to develop conversational AI and AI-embedded smart glasses, drawing on a team largely composed of former Oculus and Reality Labs veterans. Iribe serves as CEO.
