The regulatory positioning of its headline ECG/AFib features across markets adds compliance overhead a sub-50-person company can ill afford. Health wearables are a data-longevity purchase — users choose platforms they believe will exist in five years — and Circular's public near-death experience is itself a competitive wound. The realistic bear outcome is a slow fade: backer-funded batches shipping into a shrinking niche, no institutional rescue at acceptable terms, and eventual asset sale of the IP to a larger ring maker.
