Whatever remains of the Movano Health investment case rests on real, hard-won regulatory assets that survived the company's near-death experience. The EvieMED Ring received FDA 510(k) clearance for its pulse oximeter in December 2024 — a distinction almost no smart-ring competitor holds — validated by UCSF hypoxia trials, selection for an MIT study on long COVID and chronic Lyme, and payor and pharma conversations for remote patient monitoring and clinical-trial use, a market where FDA clearance is the ticket of entry rather than a marketing flourish. The proprietary millimeter-wave RF system-on-chip behind the roadmap — cuffless blood pressure, eventually non-invasive glucose — remains a legitimately scarce technical asset. The March 2026 all-stock merger with Corvex, closed March 19 with a concurrent $40.2M raise, solved the existential problem: stockholders' equity now clears Nasdaq's minimum, the going-concern cloud and the predatory bridge loan (which would have transferred Movano's IP to the lender had the deal failed by March 31) are behind it, and the combined company has stated the medical-device operations, including the FDA-cleared EvieMED Ring and the RF technology, will resume marketing. For holders, the equity is now primarily a capitalized AI-infrastructure bet with a free option on a cleared medical wearable — a strictly better position than the two months of cash and $160.5M accumulated deficit the standalone company faced in late 2025. Any commercial traction for EvieMED in clinical trials or RPM, or a sale of the RF portfolio, is upside the market currently prices at zero.

Movano Health as a wearables company is over; the bear case is simply the record. The women-first Evie Ring launched into Oura's ascendancy and never found a market — the company halted sales in early 2025 citing supply-chain issues and customer feedback, relaunched in September, and nothing changed. By Q3 2025 Movano had $2M of cash against $9M of nine-month operating burn, a going-concern warning, a 1-for-10 reverse split to hold its Nasdaq listing, and a $1.5M bridge loan at an effective rate above 100% secured by its intellectual property. The rescue that arrived tells you what the assets were worth: an all-stock reverse merger in which Corvex — a GPU cloud company with no connection to health — took the shell, the name (effective March 23, 2026, the company is Corvex, Inc.), and the listing, with leadership passing to Corvex's founders. The FDA clearance the bull case leans on covers a pulse oximeter, a commodity measurement, not the blood-pressure or glucose moonshots that were always the real thesis; those remain unproven after eight years and nine figures of cumulative losses. Inside an AI-infrastructure company chasing GPU capacity, a subscale medical-device unit competing against an $11B, IPO-bound Oura — which now also holds an ITC patent victory over ring rivals — will be starved or sold. Anyone holding MOVE today owns a speculative AI-cloud SPAC-alike with heavy preferred-stock overhang from the merger mechanics, not a wearables company. The original investment thesis did not survive; it was recapitalized away.
