Founded in 2017 and based in New York (originally as Tatch), Wesper develops an at-home sleep-diagnostics platform built on flexible wireless patches and a wrist-worn pulse oximeter. The adhesive sensors capture airflow, body position, oxygen levels, heart rate, and snoring to deliver home sleep-apnea testing without the cannulas and wired setups of traditional polysomnography. In May 2025 the company announced FDA-cleared technology adding full respiratory analysis, body-position tracking, and central-apnea detection, positioning it for both clinics and direct-to-patient diagnostics. Wesper has raised roughly $24M to date from investors including Spark Capital, and is led by CEO Dr. Amir Reuveny.
Wesper is pushing sleep-apnea diagnosis — a large, heavily under-tested condition — out of the lab and onto a comfortable wearable patch, a model that could materially expand who gets screened.
