Bullish (NYSE: BLSH) is a publicly traded Exchanges & Trading company founded in 2020 and based in George Town, Cayman Islands.
Founded in 2020 and seeded by Block.one, Bullish is a regulated digital asset exchange focused on institutional traders, offering spot and derivatives trading with deep liquidity and a hybrid order-book/automated-market-maker model. Led by CEO Tom Farley, a former president of the New York Stock Exchange, it became the first digital asset exchange to list on the NYSE in August 2025 under ticker BLSH, raising about $1.1 billion. Bullish also owns CoinDesk, the crypto media and events business it acquired in 2023. In May 2026 it agreed to acquire transfer agent Equiniti from Siris Capital in a roughly $4.2 billion deal (expected to close in early 2027) to build out infrastructure for tokenized securities, and on June 29, 2026 it received Gibraltar regulatory approval for tokenized-securities trading, with launch expected within weeks.
Bullish pairs an institutional exchange with ownership of CoinDesk, and its NYSE listing under a former NYSE president made it a landmark public-market crypto-exchange story.
