Miso Robotics builds the most recognizable kitchen robot in America — Flippy, the AI fry-station arm deployed with White Castle and Jack in the Box — and its August 2025 partnership with Ecolab restructured the entire commercial thesis in its favor. The redesigned Flippy is now half the size, twice as fast, 70% quicker to install, and materially more reliable than its predecessor, and Ecolab, whose 6,000-strong sales force already services restaurant kitchens with cleaning and sanitation, now offers Flippy rentals to that installed base. That distribution is the piece Miso never had: instead of a startup cold-calling operators one at a time, it plugs into an incumbent's national foodservice relationships. The macro case is genuine — fast-food labor is expensive, high-turnover, and the fry station is the hottest, most miserable job in the kitchen, exactly the task automation should claim first. Revenue grew 34% year over year, from $384.7K (2024) to $514.8K (2025), and Miso has scheduled rollouts to additional White Castle and Jack in the Box locations plus other large brands. The company has also broadened beyond hardware with CookRight, an AI sensing suite (including a coffee variant) that gives operators a lower-cost entry point into the automation stack. If QSR automation inflects, Miso owns the brand, the OEM-grade product, and now an incumbent's channel.
