Founded in 2000 as Benchmark Capital Europe and fully independent since 2007, Balderton is one of London's largest venture firms. It has made more than 100 early-stage investments in European technology companies — including Revolut, GoCardless, Wayve and Depop — and announced $1.3 billion in new early-stage and growth funds in 2024. The firm operates Benchmark's equal-partnership model.
