Founded in 2000 as Holtzbrinck Ventures, the venture arm of the Holtzbrinck publishing group, HV Capital rebranded in 2020 and is now an independent Munich- and Berlin-based firm. Its funds have invested in more than 200 companies, including Zalando, Delivery Hero, FlixBus and SumUp. HV runs an equal partnership in which all general partners receive the same carry.
