Brad Porter
Before founding Collaborative Robotics in May 2022, spent over 13 years at Amazon, rising to Vice President and Distinguished Engineer of Robotics, where he led a 10,000+ person organization spanning Amazon Robotics (formerly Kiva), Robotics AI, and Prime Air drone delivery, and oversaw the deployment of hundreds of thousands of robots across fulfillment operations. Earlier in his career, he was CTO at Scale AI and held roles at Netscape and Tellme, where he helped pioneer early voice applications. He holds an undergraduate degree from Washington State University and a Healthcare MBA from Oregon Health & Science University. His experience deploying automation at massive scale directly informed his decision to build Proxie — a mobile manipulator cobot designed to work safely alongside people in logistics, healthcare, and manufacturing environments.
