Hongbo Li
Hongbo Li earned a BS from Northeastern University (China) and a PhD in computer science from Tsinghua University, where he later served as an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology. His academic research focused on multi-agent robotic systems, navigation, perception, and control—domains directly foundational to autonomous mobile robots. Prior to co-founding Geek+, he had no industry or startup track record; he was primarily a scholar. Li is recognized as a leading expert in multi-agent robotics and heads Geek+'s R&D organization, overseeing a large engineering team. Geek+ became the world's first publicly listed pure-play AMR warehouse robotics company with its 2025 IPO on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
