Started KIRI Innovations in 2018 as a college capstone project at McMaster University during engineering studies, driven by frustration over the cost of 3D scanning hardware. Previously worked as a Product Engineer at Honda and served as Division Project Manager for the McMaster Engineering EcoCAR EV Challenge. Holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Management Co-op from McMaster. Initially built affordable 3D scanning hardware, then pivoted to software in 2020 to create KIRI Engine after early hardware setbacks. Led the team to develop proprietary 3DGS-to-mesh conversion techniques, positioning the app as a developer-friendly alternative with an accessible free tier.
