Prior to Tilt Five, Jamie Gennis spent several years at Google as a senior engineer on the Android platform graphics team, where he worked deep in the graphics stack — including contributions to SurfaceFlinger and the hardware composer layer — giving him firsthand experience with the latency and synchronization challenges that make or break near-eye display systems. That expertise translates directly to Tilt Five's AR architecture, which must deliver stable, low-latency 3D holograms synced precisely to a retroreflective game board. Gennis brings the engineering discipline of mobile-constrained rendering to a device class where every millisecond matters.
