Yuri Milner founded DST Global in 2009 as a spin-off from Digital Sky Technologies, alongside co-founders Saurabh Gupta, John Lindfors, Rahul Mehta and Tom Stafford. The firm made its name with a $200 million investment in Facebook at a $10 billion valuation in 2009 — famously governance-light — and has since backed late-stage consumer internet and fintech companies worldwide from offices across Silicon Valley, New York, London, Beijing and Hong Kong.
