Founded in 2015 by Palantir co-founder Joe Lonsdale and a group of entrepreneurs and investors, 8VC is headquartered in Austin and also operates from San Francisco and New York. The firm reports more than $6 billion in committed capital and often incubates companies through 8VC Build alongside investing across defense, logistics, enterprise software, healthcare and biosciences.
