Paradigm

Paradigm was founded in 2018 by Coinbase co-founder Fred Ehrsam and former Sequoia partner Matt Huang, launching with $750 million from institutional backers including Harvard, Yale and Stanford. The firm pairs investing with an in-house protocol research and open-source engineering team, reported $12.7 billion in assets under management as of April 2025, and raised a further $1.2 billion fund in July 2026. Huang leads the firm as managing partner; Ehrsam remains a co-founder and senior advisor.
