Ribbit Capital is a fintech-focused venture firm founded in Palo Alto in 2012 by Venezuelan entrepreneur Micky Malka, who had previously built financial institutions on four continents. The firm invests globally across payments, lending, insurance and crypto, with early positions in Robinhood, Coinbase, Nubank and Revolut, and in 2021 partnered with Walmart to launch the fintech venture One.
