Technology Crossover Ventures was founded in 1995 by Jay Hoag and Rick Kimball to invest across private growth rounds and public technology stocks. From Menlo Park, New York and London, TCV has invested well over $13 billion in more than 350 companies; Jay Hoag has served on Netflix's board since the firm's 1999 investment, and the firm led Revolut's $500 million Series D in 2020.
