Concentrated crossover investing in cloud, software and AI companies across public and private markets.

Brad Gerstner founded Altimeter in Boston in 2008, launching with under $3 million during the financial crisis; the firm now operates from Boston and Menlo Park. It runs a long/short public equity fund alongside venture funds, and is known for concentrated positions in cloud and AI infrastructure — most famously Snowflake — and for taking Grab public via a $40 billion SPAC merger in 2021.
